Beauty begins from within—it’s a phrase we’ve all heard before, but there’s immense truth to it. Our skin and hair health are inextricably linked to the ingredients we choose to ingest and that’s why I’ve incorporated more nutrient-dense foods into my lifestyle. Supplements can fill in the holes in our nutrition that simply can’t be filled by food and water alone.
I started my supplement journey about four years ago with care/of, a vitamin brand that allows you to customize your daily vitamin packs based on your individual needs. From there I started experimenting with biotin and collagen, noticing results in my skin, nails, and hair. I love trying new supplements and herbal remedies to target certain needs, and there definitely is an overwhelming amount of options out there to choose from. Through trial and error, I’ve edited my supplement routine down to these five products.
